Projects overview
A Project is the shared workspace for your band, solo act, duo, DJ collaboration, or other musical act. Manage your members, songs, set lists, calendar, events, and conversations in one place.
Manage your act and help people discover it
When your Project has a public profile, people can discover it in LiveSceneMix under Bands & Acts.
The Project workspace and its public profile represent the same act. The workspace is private to active members; enabling the public profile lets people discover the act under Bands & Acts without sharing its management tools.
Create or open a Project
Use Account → Projects to find Projects you belong to. A Project can represent a performing act or a collaboration; its type describes what you do rather than replacing the shared workspace.
- Select Create Project from Projects.
- Enter the Project name and choose its type. Add an optional description and location.
- Select Create Project, then open the Project to start organizing your team.
Bring your people together
Overview shows Project Members and your role. Owners and Admins can use Invite Member and manage pending invitations. An invitation must be accepted before the person becomes an active member.
Recipients can accept or decline under Account → Messages → Project Invitations or My Projects → Pending Invitations. Both show the same invitation, and responding in either place updates the other. Pending invitations show the Messages attention dot without becoming chat messages.
A member’s working role in the Project describes their contribution. Owner, Admin and Member determine management access; they are separate from musical or support roles.
Find the right tool
Use the Project section navigation to move between the shared tools.
- Overview: members, invitations and Project settings.
- Songs: the Project’s catalog of songs it is considering, learning or performing.
- Set Lists: named, ordered selections from that catalog, divided into sections.
- Events: gigs and shows, with optional public pages and a private Set List link.
- Calendar: Events, private Practices and member unavailability in one place.
- Messages: private Project chat and Polls for shared decisions.
Keep collaboration private; share what you choose
The workspace is for active Project members. A public Project profile is a separate presentation of your act, enabled by an Owner or Admin. Events also have their own Publish Event control.
Publishing an Event or Project profile does not reveal the member list, Songs, Set Lists, Calendar availability, Messages or Polls.
