Search and discovery

Choose a Search category

Musicians: find individual musicians by location, instruments, genres, and other available filters.

Bands & Acts: find bands, solo performers, duos, DJs, and other musical acts. Filter by location and act type.

Live Performance Services: find people who support live music, including sound, lighting, booking, management, photography/video, stage support, and related services.

Saved returns to the musicians you have saved, with private notes only you can see. Saving bands, acts or service providers is not currently supported.

Search follows your account choices

If Discover Live Music is your only account choice, Search shows Bands & Acts and Saved. Choosing Play or Perform Music or Provide Services for Live Music shows Musicians, Bands & Acts, Live Performance Services and Saved. Multiple choices combine to keep all relevant categories available.

Change How I Use LiveSceneMix in My Account to update your choices. Older accounts without choices keep the full Search menu.

Search categories omitted from your menu still open from an existing link or bookmark. Your choices keep navigation focused; they do not restrict access to profiles.

Projects and Bands & Acts

LiveSceneMix uses Projects to manage bands, solo acts, duos, DJ collaborations, and similar musical groups. When searching, these appear under Bands & Acts. Project management tools keep their Project names.

Sign in and search

Search and Saved currently require sign-in. Public profile links keep their existing visibility settings. Select a category, then use its available filters to narrow results.
